With all the GREAT website builders out their powering all of our e-Commerce sites and more, its hard to believe behind tons of it is code telling everything what to do. “Say What Chris” (That’s you saying that to me by the way :-).
I mean, how blessed are we to be able to be this lazy and just drag and drop, and boom our sites are built with awesome detail right in front of our eyes, and without a group of coding wizards coding away for hours.
Keep in mind though, sites like Shopify, Volusion and Fat Cow do start by creating a site with these great wizards to get it going, so they can bring you all these simple methods such as drag and drop website builders.
I figured it would be fun to offer some great sites where you can learn some basic code in a fun manner so you understand some basic coding. It was fun to learn myself so I hope you enjoy learning what powers your site too.
Code Academy – This is a great resource for anyone learning to learn all about coding. From PHP to Web Fundamentals, it will take you through various courses learning the ins and outs, and as well puts you in the drivers seat so you can learn first hand on what it is all about.

Code.org – This site has a lot of nice resources to help broaden your knowledge and understanding of what coding is all about. Code.org as well has outlets to other services such as Code Academy which is just above and as well scratch. Take a little time and look around to get a better feel of what it is all about.
