Full Disclosure: I just about deleted this article, because I got thinking, “what am I, an inventory blog” but then I thought, well, it is apart of creating your online store. Â
I mean you gotta have some sources to consider. So I feel better about writing this because I love these sources.
I thought it would be nice to provide some nice spots to looks and check out if your attempting to find additional inventory for your e-Commerce store that you have up and running.
And not just your every day run of the mill eBay sites, because I’m pretty sure your aware that eBay exists .
But I’m talking some interesting spots that might have some great potential but you just never have thought about looking there.
Shop GoodWill – I was introduced to this spot not to long ago and I just love what they have to offer on this site. Pretty much, it just represents all the Goodwill’s out there, and offers them another portal to sell items that may hold more value such as antiques and coins.
Now Shop Goodwill is an auction site so you are bidding against others, which if you look at the glass half full like me, it’s opportunity to hopefully get a killer deal on some awesome products for your e-Commerce website.
Shop Goodwill too has pretty decent shipping rate charges that are fair so I feel they fluctuate nicely with shipping prices, and not absurd inflated prices that you just know are way to much.
To me this can be a deal breaker because I’m not buying something with a decent profit margin just to have it ruined by super expensive shipping charges.
Fiverr – This is one of those spots I’ve used for website related services, which rocks, and is worth checking out, but as well, offers a nice little product section where most of everything is just 5 bucks.
I found it really awesome when I saw a bracelet made out of the skin of a baseball, and thought, this is a one of a kind piece I haven’t seen.
Old Stuff Only – I found this searching Google and fell in love with the products and prices. The owners just do a great job of telling the story of each product, which to me is great since they specialize in Antiques, and every story just adds value to a piece.
RepoCast – This is a company based out of Michigan which is where I live so I do have the advantage of going to the actual warehouse, but they offer shipping to pretty much wherever you are.
Repocast is set up as an auction so your going to have some competition, but as well, some great prices too. They offer many different categories from smalls to larges to keep your inventory booming for your online store.
I hope you enjoy these and shares your experiences with using these. Also, if you have one that you feel is a great source for inventory for any e-Commerce store please make you share it.
